It’s finally fall and while for many of us this change of season signals the arrival of pumpkin spice just-about-anything, for our Dynamics 365 CRM experts fall brings with it something even more exciting. You guessed it; the 2021 Wave 2 Release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is here!

2) View only the fields you need with column sorting

This new option allows users to modify the available columns on grid views. In the past, customizing and updating the visible columns in this view would require the creation or amendment of a view but now, with this built-in solution, users can customize the columns on the fly.

As you can see, a new pane alloys users to move columns to their desired location, making a visual analysis of specific field data quick and easy for end users.

3) Create new touchpoint opportunities with SMS marketing integrations

Dynamics 365 Marketing channels continue to create new opportunities to connect with mobile users with a newly available SMS connector to Twilio and Telesign. The SMS channel allows users to easily add SMS delivery to you campaigns and serve marketing communications to your mobile audiences.

The new integration allows connection to two of the most popular and robust SMS engagement platforms available through an Omnichannel service. Users can purchase or reuse existing SMS accounts and purchase Azure Communication Services phone numbers in regions where those numbers are supported.

These are just a few of the many updates available for roll out for the Dynamics 365 CRM wave 2 release, but there are tons of other exciting new features. You can read more about the full release here.
